I am a Colorado-based illustrator focused mainly on concept art and visual development. I love reading books and learning about fashion and fashion history. My goal is to design stylish and fun characters and bring their stories to life. I am also very influenced by video games and music. I currently work in the archives of a Western art museum, and that has definitely influenced the tone of my more recent work.

Although digital art has recently become my focus, I was mainly a traditional artist for a long time, and my interests span a variety of media. I have painted five murals, both solo and with a group. I love painting on that scale and focusing on readability and color. I also enjoy watercolors, ink, and oil paint and I am very inspired by the loose style of the Impressionists.

When I step away from my sketchbook, you’ll find me lost in a good book, flowing through yoga poses, playing video games, or practicing my guitar.
